Winter Wonderland at the Matterhorn

Usually I am not really a skiing fan! Why? Well there are several reasons: it is cold sometimes even very cold, you have to wear an extra 5kg in cloth and you hardly get any sun when it snows. But this changes when I see the Matterhorn.

Ginkgo Trees at Prenzlauer Berg

How pretty are these leafs? When I was at Betty'n Caty the other day I noticed that these bright yellow Ginkgo leafs are everywhere. They are so beautiful and they also brighten up the appearance of the street. They should plant them throughout the whole city. Berlin would glow like the sun during fall.

Best Breaki in Berlin

This is Betty'n Caty in Berlins quiet and beautiful Kollwitz Kiez neighbourhood in Prenzlauer Berg. This pretty and cute café offers the best breakfast in town. Porridge, Sweets and all sorts of Egg dishes with a healthy twist. It's divine.

Berlin Fall of the Wall Celebration

Happy Fall of the Wall everyone! 25 years have passed since West Berlin and East Berlin have united. On sunday night there was an installation along the Berlin Wall where they released the balloons to celebrate this special anniversary. This picture was taken in front of the East Side Gallery. What an amazing setting.

It's * Berlin Week *

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the fall of the wall in Berlin I thought it's time to celebrate. That's why I came up with the idea of the *Berlin Week*. This means that I will show what to do and where to go in Berlin. One whole week of posts about the vibrant german capital. I hope you enjoy it. Kicking off with DUDU, my favourite asian restaurant. Stay tuned & enjoy the Berlin Week.

Portugal Travel Diary // Cocktail o'clock

I am not really into alcoholic drinks but on vacation I enjoy going to the hotel bar if it's nice. At the Conrad Algarve there were two bars, I preferred the Gusto by Heinz Beck Bar which is also a Michelin Star Restaurant. The Cocktails were as exiting as the food.

A Day at the Beach !

A vacation without seeing any kind of water is no vacation for me. After two days of golfing and relaxing on the pool, I had to go to the beach to Praia Quinta do Lago.

Portugal Travel Diary // The Food

You know that I am a Foodie, so it is no secret that I like to enjoy great food even when on vacation. Food is actually even more important when away because you can discover amazing dishes and ingredients if you try local food. For me the Portuguese Pastel de Nata are not to be missed.

Portugal Travel Diary // Part 2 - The Accomodation

A hotel can turn your holiday into a nightmare or it can be paradise which in my case was created by the Conrad Algarve. The five star hotel is a getaway that you do not want to get away from.

Breakfast Time at Louro...

Breakfast is a very important meal, even more important when on vacation. I could sit there for hours, drink half a dozen coffees as well as juices and enjoy the view. Starting the Day with "the best orange juice of the world" - that's what the Portuguese people say. I have to admit the orange juice is very fruity, sweet and delicious.

Hello & Good Bye Algarve! The first part of my Portugal Travel Diary is the Arrival and the Departure. I love taking photos out of the plane window. Everything looks so small and you have such great views. It is amazing. So enjoy my plane pics from above. This is the beautiful sunny Algarve.

Hallo Herbst!

Was ich an East London mag?
