Galliano's Debut at Maison Martin Margiela

Today was the comeback of John Galliano who presented his first collection as creative director for Maison Martin Margiela during the London Collection's Men Shows. Since 2011, when Galliano said "I love Hitler" it was very quiet around him but now he returns to the Fashion World and joins Maison Martin Margiela. He seems transformed when you look at the picture above - he looks elegant, classy and mature. Three adjectives that you would not normally use when you describe the appearance of John Galliano. 

The Company which owns Maison Martin Margiela is called "Only the Brave" which has bought several other fashion firms such as Marni and Viktor&Rolf. But let's have a look at the Runway Looks from this afternoon.

Gone but not forgotten - a true inspiration

Oscar de la Renta was 82 when his life came to an end yesterday. I am sure he will not be forgotten since he was such an amazing designer and he was an enormous inspiration for the the fashion world. He will live on in his designs. Have a look at his wonderful Gowns . Even if we don't need a dress like this, it is divine to look at them.

Celebrating the LV Monogram

This year is the 160th founding anniversary of the brand Louis Vuitton which they are celebrating by a wonderful collaboration with six fellow designers. All of them including Karl Lagerfeld & Christian Louboutin designed an accessoire and used the famous monogram LV print to celebrate the brand's signature element.

NEWS : BERLIN FASHION WEEK starts today...

Der "ganz normale Wahnsinn" beginnt heute in unserer Hauptstadt. Es ist Fashion Week und das bedeutet, dass Berlin im Ausnahmezustand ist. Diese zwei Wochen im Jahr während der Mercedes Benz Fashion Week sind etwas ganz Besonderes, denn so international und modisch sieht man Berlin selten. Die wichtigsten Personen der Modebranche sowie Modebegeisterte aus aller Welt reisen an, um den Flair rund um die Modewoche aufzusaugen. Runway Shows, Messen, Showrooms, Parties und viele andere Events finden die nächsten Tage statt. Heute morgen um 10 Uhr eröffnete Julian Zigerli die Modewoche im Fashion Zelt. Noch bis zum 13.Juli kann man das Spektakel miterleben. Ich werde euch in den nächsten Tagen "Mein Berlin" vorstellen, wo ich am liebsten Zeit verbringe, wenn ich nicht gerade im Zelt vor Ort bin.
