Foodie Heaven at Ottolenghi

Hmmmmmmm these cakes do not only look amazing - they taste like heaven. If you feel like cake you have to go to Ottolenghi, who currently has three delis and one proper restaurant called Nopi in London. So if you happen to walk around Notting Hill, Belgravia or Islington pop inside, eat cake or have some healthy salads instead. It is a London Essential that you should not miss out on.

Dinner at NAC - Mayfair

There are lots of London restaurant reviews in the pipeline. I will kick off this year with the NAC, which I really enjoyed. It is not posh and overly expensive like most of the other Mayfair restaurants. But don't get me wrong it is hip and a great place to have dinner. I think it is quite rustic, down to earth and has a great vibe.

Lunch with a view at Oblix

London is full of fantastic restaurants but there are a few with a view. So if you like something special for the holidays you should book a table at the Oblix on the 32nd floor in the Shard.

Proper Weekend Breakfast at Kaffeine

On the weekends I love to go out and have a proper breakfast! My London absolute favourite is Kaffeine - still the best Bircher Müsli out there. And the Banana Bread is amazing. I baked it so often at home but could not manage to get near the fabulous taste of this moist cake. And do not get me started on the Cappuccino. Head over here for great coffee and company.

Sweet Treat Guide London: Angres de Sucre

Sorry Berlin Lovers, but after a week in Berlin, I am so happy to be back in London. I missed London so much especially since everything is so christmassy and pretty. And I missed my cute little shops and cafés that I visit regularly. Angres de Sucre is one of them. I absolutely love the macarons and other sweets they have in their Kensington shop.

Breakfast at Milchhalle

In Berlin as well as in London the "Coffee Culture" is amazing. On every corner there is an independent coffee shop which serves great coffee (mostly Bonanza Coffee). One of them is the Milchhalle. This cozy Berlin Mitte Cafe offers lovely breakfast, freshly baked cakes, bircher müsli, crunchy croissants, freshly squeezed juices and proper Cappuccino. I am a frequenter so I always pay them a visit when I am in Berlin.

Best Breaki in Berlin

This is Betty'n Caty in Berlins quiet and beautiful Kollwitz Kiez neighbourhood in Prenzlauer Berg. This pretty and cute café offers the best breakfast in town. Porridge, Sweets and all sorts of Egg dishes with a healthy twist. It's divine.

It's * Berlin Week *

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the fall of the wall in Berlin I thought it's time to celebrate. That's why I came up with the idea of the *Berlin Week*. This means that I will show what to do and where to go in Berlin. One whole week of posts about the vibrant german capital. I hope you enjoy it. Kicking off with DUDU, my favourite asian restaurant. Stay tuned & enjoy the Berlin Week.

Me and my Mint Tea

The weather in London could not be better. In fact, I am still sitting outside and have breakfast. It is lovely. Me and my mint tea are enjoying it. This vintage china has so much history and is so cute. Everytime I come to Cocomaya I'll get a different design. Such a cute idea and it is always a surprise which one I get. I especially like their Chelsea branch on Pavillion Road, close to Sloane Square. For sugar addicts this is definitely the place to go.

EAT OUT London : OPSO, Marylebone

I love Greek Food - there I said it. Tzatziki, Dakos, Feta or Baklava - these mediterranean dishes can be amazing, when you have the right ingredients. They are simple to make but hard to accomplish. If Opso is a real greek?

#Tea4choo - The Jimmy Choo High Tea

The Brits love their afternoon tea, but what everyone loves even more is a fashionable high tea which you can find at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. Usually they have designer runway inspired cakes and sweets which they change depending on the fashion seasons spring summer or fall winter. But currently the luxurious shoe brand Jimmy Choo collaborates with the Knightsbridge based Hotel. So get your iphones and hashtag #tea4choo and #sweettooth.

NEWS // L'Eto Caffe on Brompton Road

I am very excited to announce that there will soon be a L'Eto Caffe in my Neighbourhood. They will open their sixth outlet on Brompton Road in early November. As you may know I am a L'Eto Fan, read my Eat Out Post if you like to know what in particular I like about the Café.

My Weekend Favourite

If you share the love of Cinnamon Buns with me, you should head out to the Scandinavian Kitchen in Marylebone. Believe me I tried many, but the Scandinavian know to to bake them to perfection. See for yourself...

Short stop at Ladurée then off to London Fashion Weekend

London is still in fashion mode. With Fashion Week being over and Vodafone London Fashion Weekend starting today, there is still no end in sight. I will attend the Amanda Wakeley Show later. But first I will get a snack at Ladurée. Nobody eats at Fashion Weeks so I will prepare myself on the way in order to survive the day in the tent. See you later.

EAT OUT London : La Fromagerie, Marylebone

Afternoon Tea @ The Berkeley, Caramel Room, London

EAT OUT London: Souli, Marylebone

EAT OUT LONDON : Granger & Co. Notting Hill
