Hmmmmmmm these cakes do not only look amazing - they taste like heaven. If you feel like cake you have to go to Ottolenghi, who currently has three delis and one proper restaurant called Nopi in London. So if you happen to walk around Notting Hill, Belgravia or Islington pop inside, eat cake or have some healthy salads instead. It is a London Essential that you should not miss out on.
Shakshuka is something we discovered as we had breakfast at Ottolenghi in Islington about two years ago. We had it there for the first time and we love it eversince. With we I mean my boyfriend and me. This arabic breakfast is just perfect and we cannot get enough of it. This morning we had it at a Café in Hampstead. It was divine. If you want to try it at home - I would recommend you go for the original recipe of Yotam Ottolenghi. Start your weekend right with delicious food.
Nach einem stressigen Tag braucht man einfach eine Aufheiterung. Natürlich kommt es darauf an, in welcher Stimmung ich bin und auf was ich gerade Lust habe. Heute hat nur Kuchen geholfen, genauer dieser Schokoladenkuchen mit Haselnüssen von Ottolenghi. Danach ging es mir schon viel besser und ich konnte mich entspannen sowie den Tag in Ruhe reflektieren.
