Flower Love

I just love flowers - any bloomers in fact! Especially when it is cold, grey, bare and leafless outside. I love to brighten up the flat with any kind of blossoms and flowers. Everytime I look at them I feel joy and happiness. I don't know if every woman feels that way but I do. Here is my Flower Top 3 and why I like them.

To all Monday Haters

Good Morning dear Monday Haters, I have something that will cheer you up. Try my Chia Pudding (made with Chia Seeds and Coconut Milk) with Plum Compote, Mango & Yoghurt. Then fill it into a red wine glass or any big glass jar. The important thing is that you can see through how all the colours and components combine in the glass. Isn't it beautiful and it is so yummy as well as healthy. By the way Mango is a true superfood, it reduces blood pressure, boosts immunity and reduces stress hormones. It is also very high in Vitamin C and Iron which also improves energy levels. So enjoy this fruity breaki and have a great week.

Breakfast Time at Louro...

Breakfast is a very important meal, even more important when on vacation. I could sit there for hours, drink half a dozen coffees as well as juices and enjoy the view. Starting the Day with "the best orange juice of the world" - that's what the Portuguese people say. I have to admit the orange juice is very fruity, sweet and delicious.

Eyes wide open

There are so many beautiful things out there, you just have to open your eyes and search for them. Yesterday I walked through South Kensington and spotted this single lovely pink rose which brightened up my day. You can find beauty everywhere even at unexpected places like a construction site.

TGIF - It's Friday finally...

and the weekend is about to start! When I believe the weather forecast summer will return to London on saturday and sunday with 24°C. I am thrilled because I get to wear this summery flower print shirt again. Flower prints are a summer essential, at least for me. And when fall is coming back next week, I can also wear it with a fur gilet and can still maintain the summer feeling in my head.

Flower Art von Ana Tzarev in Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf hat mit London eigentlich wenig zu tun. 45 min vom Citycenter entfernt ist es erstens eine halbe Weltreise und zweitens gibt es hier nichts als Büros. Das Finanzzentrum der Stadt besteht aus Hochhäusern, Einkaufszentren und Hotels, umgeben von Wasser. Damit ist es nicht gerade ein must-see Hotspot der Stadt, doch diese XXL Blumen Statue von Ana Tzarev fand ich trotzdem sehenswert. In den Blütenblättern spiegeln sich die umliegenden Wolkenkratzer. Außerdem steht die Skulptur für LOVE & PEACE.

Mir persönlich kann Schmuck nicht auffällig genug sein. XXL-Ketten, Armreifen, Ohrringe und auch Ringe werten einen Look auf und machen ihn besonders. Wie dieser Blumenring, den ich im Sommer besonders mag. In der Sonne funkelt er wie echte Diamanten. Leider sind es keine, doch auch Modeschmuck kann den selben Effekt wie Echtschmuck haben, wenn man ihn richtig einsetzt und gezielt darauf achtet, dass er nicht zu unecht wirkt. Jedenfalls ist dieser Ring der Eyecatcher meines Outfits und ich liebe ihn.
